MEDIA ADVISORY - Ontario Brain Institute to Announce 2019 ONtrepreneurs and New OBI x Pfizer Canada Partnership

KITCHENER-WATERLOO, ON – On June 20, at the Neurotech Ontario Showcase taking place at THEMUSEUM in Kitchener, the Ontario Brain Institute (OBI) will be announcing the 2019 ONtrepreneurs and a partnership between OBI and Pfizer Canada.
The ONtrepreneurs program recipients will receive $50,000 in cash, Canada’s single largest award for early stage brain technology entrepreneurs; with the OBI x Pfizer Canada partnership supporting internships within the neurotech industry in order to increase the number of highly qualified professionals in the field.
The announcement will take place between 6pm and 6:30pm at the showcase which is open from 5pm to 9pm and free of charge to the public, featuring more than 20 organizations developing real-life applications that are helping to improve the lives of people living with brain disorders as well as their families and caregivers.
